Under the direction of the supervisor, the Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for inspecting, monitoring and verifying various items of quality programs (HACCP-GFSI), and prerequisite programs. The incumbent of this position will also interpret critical point results and participate in the problem solving process to determine the best solution. Full-time job, from Monday through Thursday 7:00-17:00.​

Develop and implement the training plan (HACCP-GFSI).

Monitor production tests and ensure product quality.

Track inventory.

Perform production sampling.

Check the conformity of raw materials.
-
Perform internal audits of operational processes to verify compliance with current quality standards and regulations and identify opportunities for improvement.

Participate in the problem solving process during production.

Required Skills

Knowledge of HACCP and GFSI standards (SQF, an asset)

Knowledge of Office software and suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

Have a good capacity for analysis, synthesis and popularization

Having worked in the food sector

Knowledge of hygiene and sanitation standards

Knowledge of central business (an asset)

Have a high level of English (an asset)
Training and experience

College diploma in Dietetics or equivalent or higher education

Work experience in a food processing plant (minimum 1 year)
